The Iowa Watercolor Society was organized in 1977 by a small group of
enthusiastic watercolorists led by Joe Messner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Today, the IWS draws members from all
over the state of Iowa and recently expanded to include surrounding states. The current exhibition of IWS members' works will be on display in the Cherry Building Schwartzkopf Gallery from May 1 through June 27, 2025.
