Priscilla Steele

has been a professional artist for 35 years. A native of South Korea, she is influenced by Korean traditions as well as the work of Western artists. To her, making art is a way of creating silence and serenity out of chaos. Her work often wrestles with questions of what lies beneath the surface and how emotional difficulties can cause us to grow in wisdom and insight. Her show, “Back to Nature,” features relief sculptures and paintings inspired by the sun, moon, sea, mountain and other elements.
